Javelin Machinery had its beginnings as a Specialist Converting operation trading in the name of B J Mackie & Co (Aust) Pty Ltd from 1970. In 1984 Javelin Machinery was formed as a separate company to manufacture and market single knife slitters, loggers and laminators using the converting expertise gathered over the previous 14 years. Today Javelin sells its converting expertise as an integral part of the partnership which it considers to be as important as the machines themselves.
